Incredible bluegrass music you don’t want to miss. These guys have been joining us every summer for one night since we opened in 2020.
In the southern Appalachian mountains, fiddle and banjo players have been reveling in the complimentary textural relationship of the two instruments for hundreds of years. Longtime friends and collaborators Brendan Cooney (banjo, mandolin, and vocals) and Nikolai Fox (fiddle, guitar, and vocals) embraced this down-home duet and teamed up with versatile bassist Chris Coyle to form Noggin Hill in 2009. Over fifteen years and hundreds of performances later, the band has grown into a unique collective that has taken old-time and bluegrass sounds, melded them with other styles, and spread musical ecstasy all around the mid-Atlantic region....
